When we see something so horrible, like a lifeless child refugee washed up on shore after being put in a raft and set asail to try and find a better life, we push it to the back of our minds, we cover it up with layers of nicer thoughts and pretty colors. Whenever we are reminded of his little body we silently pray or comfort ourselves by saying he is in a better place. This little baby had no chance, but his life has touched me and I don't want to forget him and all those struggling to find a better life.
