Who ARE these people?!
We are Larry and Cyndi Ganz, parents of three children and five beautiful grandchildren. (and Toby our dog).
We Love working in the studio creating our very special pontoon boat tables, various wood projects and pretty things for the home. Cyndi is the creative genius and Larry is the engineer in charge of all that can go wrong with Cyndi's visions. We make 4 handcrafted and lovingly carved boat tables a month, 48 per year.
After retiring from the workforce we built a new workshop/studio where we design and develop our projects. We named it WoodsyStudio as it is tucked into the foothills of the Ouchita mountains on Lake Estrella in Hot Springs Village Arkansas. We moved here from Geneva Illinois in 2010 to a small energy efficient custom home on the lake.
We are blessed in so many ways.
How we started.
On the pontoon boat with no place to set down my wine glass without it tipping and making a mess to clean up, I got an idea for a better boat table. We have a patent pending on the design. Incorporated into the table design is a wine bottle holder where I can take my chilled bottle of Riesling to share with my neighbors as we pick them up in the evening for a nice sunset cruise on the lake. Cheese and crackers are within easy reach without ever having to get up from the seats.
Mike and Margie were our
inspiration after serving us on a beautiful wine and cheese tray in Naperville Illinois when we were visiting in 2016. From there our wheels started turning and WoodsyStudio was born.
